January 11, 2017

** This blog published Mondays and Wednesdays **

A few of my posts between August 2016 and January 2017 have mentioned my trip to the Henry Spangler farm, which can be accessed via horse/walking path from Confederate Avenue. I find it interesting that this is also one of the farms which can be seen from Emmitsburg Road. Here it's visible from the summit of Little Round Top --- the Spangler farm on the left and the Daniel Klingel farm on the right. Note the distant valley and the rolling mountains which make Adams County particularly beautiful at any time of the year.
