I
spy with my little eye: Big and Little Round Top (left), the back of the New
York Officers’ memorial; an artillery battery, a large swath of Cemetery Ridge
where Gen. Caldwell’s Division rested before being sent to the Wheatfield, the
1ST Minnesota Infantry monument, and, last but not least, the
much-needed restrooms beside the Pennsylvania Memorial :-)

Born 1835 --- Died August
03, 1863 at age 28
Pvt.
Burress (spelling differs) enlisted in June 1861 and later as a regimental
postmaster for a time. He was mortally wounded at Gettysburg by a shot to the
left leg, and lingered at Camp Letterman for a month. He was later buried at
Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond.
